It’s the end of November and I haven’t start talking about Christmas yet but now I should really start thinking about it if I do not want to get late as usual. For those who like to enjoy a little Christmas atmosphere but do not love the classic red and gold Christmas decorations full of frills, I found a house with a minimalist decor that is right for you!
It is the home of Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen, founder of the Norm Architects studio that collaborates with important brands such as Menu and And Tradition. Jonas, known for its minimal and sober style, has been able to combine modernity and Christmas tradition with minimal and natural decorations that fits perfectly the style of the house. A mansion of the early ‘900 where the historical elements such as fireplaces blend perfectly with the modernity of concrete floors and numerous design pieces.
The Christmas atmosphere was created with a few touches, especially green. Some candles on a fireplace, branches and small decorations on another fireplace, gifts and a totally undecorated Christmas tree. In short, Jonas and his family were able to introduce the magic of the holidays at home without sacrificing the sober and minimalist style of the house.
