How to decorate the bathroom with contrasting colored grouts

Today I want to write again about the bathroom and the latest trends.

As I write in this blog post about colored bathroom washbasins, color is really trendy right now for bathrooms. But it is not necessary to invest in expensive tiles or colored furniture to have a cheerful and trendy bathroom. There really is a more original and inexpensive way to add color: I am talking about colored grout!

In fact, using colored pastes for joints in contrast with the color of the tiles, is one of the latest trends.

You can dare choosing strong or pop hues for the grouts but the tiles should preferably be simple: preferably small, square or rectangular and in solid color.

For a colorful but tidy result: use the same color you chose for the grouts to paint the walls.

It is no longer necessary to tile the whole bathroom. It is sufficient to cover the points in contact with water, such as the shower or behind the sink. The rest of the room can be painted with a washable paint.

With a contrasting grout, for example black or red, even the classic white tiles can totally change their look!

The same concept can be applied in reverse: colored tiles and contrasting white or black grout!

Contrasting colored grouts is a trend also in the kitchen: and it is a beautiful idea for an original backsplash!
