Discreet modern luxury in a Parisian apartment.

With today’s hometour, I’ll bring you in Paris to visit an elegant apartment with an eclectic Parisian style.

The interior was designed by Aida Sniraite, the owner and interior designer at “Authentic Interior” design studio, and she created an elegant apartment in Paris for a client who loves collecting art and is passionate about vintage furniture.

Located in the Chaillot area near Passy Water Reservoirs and Arc de Triomphe, this 160sqm apartment has big windows that fill the interior with light and offer a beautiful view straight to the water.

The client’s brief was to create a space that could accommodate his curated collection of art, vintage furnishing and a sculptural dining table.

The apartment has the typical features of the Parisian Haussmann buildings: high ceiling, big windows, total white walls and classic moldings. The designer decided to keep all these features that provided the perfect canvas to indulge in contrasting materials as well as playing with shapes and colors.

High-end pieces sit along vintage furnitures, creating a discreet modern luxury.

In the living room, “Authentic Interior” design studio has worked on mixing different types of metals and different materials to create an elegant but eclectic sitting area. The client already owned two Togo sofas from Ligne Roset which the designer have boldly married with two aluminum Wassily chairs, a bronze sculpture, a marble-brass coffee table, a copper decorative light and a candle holder. A vintage rug completes the space and connects to the original fire place and mirror.

The designer gave the office an airy and clean look but with a hint of color. The inspiration came from the existing white office desk and orange vases. Shelves have been chosen white in order to blend with the white walls. The designer add colors by sourcing a vintage orange chair, a blue table lamp, artwork, books and accessories.

The dining room is dominated by the dining table which is a true artwork and a statement piece. The table has been paired with minimal Scandinavian chairs and a dreamy suspension. To complete the space, the designer chose an armchair from the same artist as the table.

The hallway accommodates a vintage sourced console, Kundalini “Lanna’ Table” light fixture.

The bedroom was already furnished. “Authentic Interior” design studio styled the room adding an original artwork, beautiful linen curtains and a table lamp.

Teenager room’s is the most colorful space in the whole apartment. The mood of the room is inspired by the tropical nature. The vintage sourced wardrobe, the side tables and the table lamp, the handmade Jujus make a perfect colorful statement on the white walls.
