Today’s home tour is once again about an apartment designed by CaSA – Colombo and Serboli Architecture (you can find two other projects here and here). Yes, I continue to share their projects because I really like their work. I love their ability to bring to light and preserve the original elements of the houses and combine them wisely with modern materials and lines, creating a balanced and fresh result. I also love the way they use color, they often choose strong and saturated colors with which they emphasize the architectural elements but the color is dosed so well and almost always combined with total white walls that it is never “too much”. Finally, I like how they use classic shapes like the arch or the semi-arch but combined with minimal furnishings. The final effect is always fresh, contemporary and above all never trivial.
This apartment, located in Barcelona, is owned by one of the two founders of the studio and in fact it fully reflects the style of the studio.
The most curious thing is this sort of “blue wooden box” inserted in the center of the apartment which, in addition to hiding the bathroom, redefines the spaces of the house.
I leave the images speak for themselves.
