Today we discover the Ikea 2017 Christmas collection, called the Vinter collection. A Christmas that according to Ikea must be in the name of minimalism: no to many decorations with strong colors, yes to an intimate and sober atmosphere.
Lovers of colorful Christmas will not be happy to see the photos of the new collection. As for me, however, they fully reflect the style with which I would like to decorate my house. Sober decors, Nordic minimalism, natural elements and lots of warm lights and candles that, in their simplicity, manage to create an intimate and warm atmosphere that perfectly reflects the idea of Christmas.
The dark settings of the photos, in shades of gray and blue, make the environments even more suggestive, contribute to make the atmosphere even more intimate and I find that they bring out the soft lights of candles and lights.
Because minimalism does not always mean coldness and it seems to me that these photos really confirm it.
