101 Copenhagen is a new Danish brand founded in 2017 and presented for the first time last September in Paris at the Maison & Objet fair.
It is a new home accessories and lighting brand set up by designers Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyloahl with the desire to create timeless design characterized by high quality and handcraft spirit.
The collection has a modern Scandinavian style but with strong references to Japanese culture in the approach to materials and processing techniques. It includes accessories such as glass and ceramic pots, handcraft tableware, wooden bowls, trays, cushions and carpets, coffee tables, etc.
The collection is characterized by the simplicity of clean lines, calm colors, organic shapes, refined textures and a passion for wood.
101 Copenhagen also collaborated with the brand NORR11 to create a collection of lights.
My favorite is the Clamp brass table lamp.
