Last May, Mr R. and I spent a few days in Taghazout in Morocco, a small village on the Atlantic coast of Morocco especially known by surfers for the waves (and yes, I did try surfing for the first time in my life…and I was not that bad at all!).
We stayed at the Sol House Taghazout Bay Surf, a small resort on the Taghazout Beach which we loved so much that I decided to show you some pictures.
What we liked the most was that, despite being a resort and being well cared in the design and the service, the atmosphere is simple and relaxed, with those surf vibes that create a really laid back atmosphere.
Of course, what I liked the most was, besides the breathtaking view of the beach, the design of the bungalows and the decoration: a mix of design, natural and eco-friendly materials and Moroccan inspirations that conquered me. I especially liked the use of typical Moroccan decorating elements, such as colored tiles, but revisited in a contemporary way: a way to wink at current design trends while respecting the local culture.
