Coat stands are useful and versatile furnishings and, thanks to the new design proposals, they also become beautiful decoration elements for our homes.

Clothes racks are functional and practical furnishings and allow us to have extra space where to hang clothes, jackets and coats.

They are perfect in small apartments because they allow us to replace the classic wardrobes and are therefore a convenient space-saving alternative and also visually lighter. They are a nice solution also for those who live in rent apartments and move often, for a guest room, for a holiday home or for an office. Furthermore we can move them from one room to another according to our needs. We can place them at the entrance of the house to store the coats, in the room to hang the clothes that we use more often, or also in the bathroom. In short, coat racks are really useful and practical furnishings.

The new models have also a beautiful design and can therefore also become decorative elements in our homes.

There are many styles we can find on the market. From metal racks, such as the original Platel model, to wooden ones like Woud’s Tojbox. We can choose between a more minimal style, like the clothes racks of Normann Copenhagen or Hartô, or opt for an original design such as the Lido coat rack in the shape of a beach cabin.

I have prepared for you a selection of those that are, in my opinion, the most beautiful models.

Today some brands also have clothes hangers designed for children. These products are in line with the Montessorian educational philosophy according to which, in the children’s room, the furnishings should be “child-size” to allow them to be more independent in the daily activities. For example, Ferm Living proposes a model with a vintage look; in wood and with simple lines is the rack proposed by the French brand Mum and Dad Factory. The Bedesign coat hanger arrives from Finland, a metal rack with geometric lines available both in adult size and in the “mini” version.
