I fell in love with the Ferm Living collection for Christmas 2018. The Danish company presents a sober, chic and minimalist Christmas collection, a nice contrast with the traditional style of Christmas, made of red, gold, shiny and sparkling decorations.
The inspiration of Ferm Living is unconventional, a collection made of rough surfaces and sober colors such as grey and dark terracotta (great trendy color of the last year). Decorations and candlesticks in brass, together with many candles, add that touch of preciousness and light that cannot be missed at Christmas. And again, decorations made with natural materials, such as dry branches, berries and eucalyptus (another great trend of the moment).
In short, the Christmas collection of Ferm Living gives a nod to the design trends of the moment but with a sober, natural and intimate final effect that I really like and which, in my opinion, perfectly reflects the Scandinavian spirit.
