4 simple ideas to exploit the space under the stairs

Today I am back with another episode of the section “HOME TIPS”

There are always points at home that are often “left out” and not exploited to their fullest. One of these points is the space under stairs, so today I want to present you four simple solutions to use this space making it more beautiful and better exploited.

1 . WARDROBE – STORAGE

If your staircase has closed steps, such as the stairs in masonry, you can close the space with a wardrobe made to measure by a carpenter. A useful way to get a closet or a storage in a space that otherwise would have been unused.

2 . CLOSET

If the staircase is near the entrance, with a few moves you can get a comfortable open closet to store coats and shoes. Choose a low shoe rack, a bar to hang jackets and coats, storage boxes and hooks and that’s it!

3. BOOKSHELVES

If your staircase is open (the space between one step and the other is open), such as on wooden stairs or modern stairs, you can opt for a “light” solution such as a bookcase. You can do it simply with shelves and the result will be original and useful for organizing your own books and decoration items. If the staircase is in front of the sofa, you can use the space as a TV area, choosing a shelf or a low TV cabinet.

4. RELAX CORNER

If the first 3 solutions do not convince you, why not create a corner where you can relax with a good book? Choose a sofa or a small armchair, a coffee table and a floor lamp and create a cozy area where you can enjoy the well-deserved moments of relaxation.
