The elegance of dark green

In the last few months, I have seen more and more dark green in the collections of different brands, in particular of nordic brands such as Ferm Living or Normann Copenhagen.

Have you noticed too? I bet dark green is going to replace terracotta and become the new trend color in the next fall and winter.

Even if it is a bit dark and moody, I love this forest color because it is elegant and bold but modern at the same time. I like it especially when used as color for walls but also for sofas and armchairs (I love dark green velvet sofa!).

For a fresher result, I love it combined with white and wood but also combined with dusty pink and terracotta. But you can also combined it with darker colors like grey and blue, you will create a bold and a bit “spooky” atmosphere but very chic.

So, let’s wait and see if dark green will become the next trend color.
