My bedroom restyling - option 2

I’m back on the blog with the second option of restyling for my bedroom and another episode of my beloved section “Get the Look”.

I had the first restyling option published last week and you can find it here. A partial and low cost restyling in a pure Scandinavian style.

This is the current state of my bedroom.

And this was the first relooking idea that it seems you liked a lot.

Today restyling is completely different and, unfortunately, this one also will remain just a dream (I already told you about the fact that I live in a rent apartment and so I don’t feel like investing in a complete relooking of my room). It is a completely different proposal and definitely this time it is not low cost. I was inspired by a somewhat revisited Parisian style, imagining to create a room that could be that of a Parisian hotel (by the way, find here all the rules you may want to follow to create a perfect Paris-style house).

These are the images I got my inspiration from.

The main colors I chose are blue and light blue, they are considered as cold colors but I think they look perfect in a bedroom. I chose some desaturated shades of blue which have a bit of grey inside because I like them and they are in line with the current trends.

To warm the environment, I added cozy materials such as velvet, precious details like the golden metal of the lamps and of course wood, both for the flooring and for some pieces of furniture. The style is vintage, chosen because it seems in line with the love of Parisians for brocantage.

And this is my project. How do you like it? I’m very curious to know your opinion because this style is maybe a little bit more “difficult” than the previous option.
